An intricate depiction of a local favourite, in wood.
'The Pillars' is an aerial, angled view of The Pillars in Mount Martha, made up of a few thousand, stained, varnished wood blocks of varying sizes and depths.
'The Pillars' was a labour of love. I've had a few attempts at getting this scene right and I finally got what I was after with this one! It was long and labour intensive but also a very fun piece to create.
'The Pillars' measures 1630 x 950 mm and weighs 20kg. It has been framed in 30x13mm varnished hardwood and comes ready to hang, with a heavy duty wire on the back.
The Art Show is a fundraiser for Mount Eliza North Primary School. By making a purchase at the Art Show, you’re helping to fund important improvements to the school, such as IT equipment, playground upgrades and much more.
