How MENPS Kids Can Participate
ABOUT - FEATHER, FUR, FIN & FANG
Let your kid unleash their imagination — from cuddly critters to fierce beasts — and turn the entire animal kingdom into their own colourful, creative masterpiece.
- Miss Vuat will assist students with brainstorming ideas and artwork composition.
- Students are to take their photo or paint their scene and frame it at home in their own time, with their own materials.
- The competition is open to ALL MENPS students.
- ONE artwork per student.
- The maximum size for artwork (including frame) is A3.
- All artwork will be displayed for the duration of the art show.
- All artwork will be for sale over the weekend, with monies retained by the Art Show and going toward the school’s fundraising efforts.
PRIZES
- Student Choice Award for 1st placed artwork within Junior, Middle and Senior School, as voted by MENPS Students.
- The Famished Wolf voucher given to all exhibiting students as a thank you.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DATES
Artwork:
- MUST be either be FRAMED or on a STRETCHED CANVAS
- MUST be ready to hang with WIRE/STRING on the back (no hooks).
- MUST be labelled on the back with the student’s FULL NAME and GRADE.
- DUE: Fri 9th Oct (End of Week 1 in Term 4) deliver to Ms Vuat's art-room

ABOUT - A FEAST FOR THE EYES (AND TASTE-BUDS!)
Let your kid unleash their cooking skills and decorating flair!
The Art Show Cafe is holding a competition to find the yummiest, fanciest, and best decorated baked items!
Is Great-great-great-grandma's chocolate cake the most delicious, or is your kid a pro at making fondant flowers? Let's put it to the test!
PRIZES
- Prizes awarded for the best entries within Junior, Middle and Senior School.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DATES
- Baked items to be made by MENPS Students (with some help from parents)
- Items to be delivered to the School either Friday 23 Oct 3-5pm or to the Art Show Cafe between 9:30-10am on Sat 24 October.
- Judging occurs at 11am on Sat 24 Oct by the Art Show Cafe Committee.
- All baked items are then sold at the Art Show Cafe.
- DO NOT cut cakes/slices - we will do this
- NO refrigeration possible
- MUST include students name, class and ingredients list (NO nuts)

ABOUT - HOSPITALITY HEROES
The Art Show café is the sweet spot — packed with decadent homemade cakes, cheeky cookies, barista drinks, and a gourmet BBQ.
Grade 6 legends jump in to plate treats, deliver orders with flair, and learn real hospitality skills.
To land a spot, they whip up a mini-resume showing why they’d make a top-tier café helper — a tiny job app with big rite-of-passage vibes.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Cafe positions are for 2 hours on Sat 25 and Sun 25 October.
- Up to 4 students volunteer at a time.
- Students complete a short "resume" telling us why they should be a Cafe Helper.
- Parents MUST book their child's cafe volunteer slot by registering via the link below.
- A parent MUST volunteer at the Art Show - either while their child is in the cafe or at another time.

ABOUT - FUTURE ENTREPRENEURS
Students who love making creative gadgets or art can run their own Market Stall, showing off their creations and keeping every dollar they earn.
To get into full entrepreneur mode, they put together a quick business plan to map out what they’ll make and how they’ll sell it — simple, creative, and seriously fun.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Market Stalls are for 2 hours on Sat 25 and Sun 25 October.
- 5 market stalls available per rotation.
- Students must complete a Business Plan prior to booking a Market Stall.
- Market Stalls can be run by one student, or a group of students.
- A table and 2 chairs will be provided, students must bring everything else - power is not available.
- Students sell their items for cash, and they retain all earnings.
- Parents MUST book their child's Market Stall slot by registering via the link below.
- A parent MUST volunteer at the Art Show - either while their child is running their market stall or at another time.

- Musical performances are for 30min slots on Sat 24 Oct and Sun 25 Oct.
- Can be a group performance or a solo.
- 2 Chairs and power provided - you must bring everything else

We need over 150 volunteers to make the Art Show happen!
The Art Show Committee has dedicated 6 months of their time to get the Art Show to this point, and we need MENPS parents to help get us over the line.
