About the Art Show

The Mount Eliza Art & Design Show - celebrating local artists for almost 50 years.

The first Mount Eliza Art & Design Show was in 1978, and has since become a major annual event for Mount Eliza North Primary School and the Mount Eliza and broader Mornington Peninsula community. The weekend-long event attracts thousands of art-lovers over the course of the weekend and is a major fundraiser for the school.

For one weekend in October, the school is transformed into a gallery, showcasing an exciting collection of work by well-known established artists, alongside new and emerging talent - all available to purchase.

Opening Night is the official opening of the Mount Eliza Art & Design Show, a not-to-be-missed evening of art, music, live auction of incredible items, drinks and canapés.

Through a commission charged on sales from the show, we raise funds for the school that supplement government funding, and are used towards improving the facilities and services at Mount Eliza North Primary School. Funds raised in the past have contributed to projects such as a complete renovation of the school oval, purchase of IT devices for classrooms, sporting equipment, sandpit upgrades and much more.

We gratefully acknowledge and thank our many sponsors, suppliers and contributors. The support from local businesses reflects the strong sense of community in Mount Eliza, of which we're very proud to be part of.

See you 24th, 25th & 26th October 2025!
