An interpretation of the Australian bush, where tall eucalyptus trees frame a quiet reservoir nestled against distant bush mountains. Half realism, half abstraction, this textured painting is built on cool tones with fleeting magenta undertones that drift through sky and reflect on the water. Quiet, still and almost nostalgic, it is inspired by the Baw Baw mountains and surrounding bushland where I was raised.
