An expressive interpretation of the Australian coastline, with a focus on native banksias whose arching branches form a natural portal, opening into a quiet coastal inlet.
A glimmering sunset creates a “staircase” of light, inviting the viewer to imagine climbing into the warmth of the sun.
peaks of neon magenta emerge throughout the landscape adding unexpected vibrancy to the earthy coastal pallete
Applied in textured strokes, the painting embraces a modern impressionist style, blurring the boundaries between realism and abstraction.
