Red. Lots of it. 'Carmine' is just what it is.. Mostly deep, pinky red mixed with various tones of orange, blue and brown.
Carmine is an abstract made up of approx. 600 stained, varnished wood blocks of varying depths. Carmine is the smallest piece I've ever made but its rich, vibrant colours make up for that. It bursts off the wall and brightens up the whole scene!
Carmine measures 525x525mm and weighs only a few kilograms. It's framed in 40x10mm hardwood and ready to hang with a wire on the back.
