The Mount Eliza Art & Design Show has finished for 2025 - see you again next year during the last weekend in October!

This is an original oil painting on a cotton canvas stretched on a wooden frame. The size : 120 X 93 cm. The painting has been signed on the back. The paint is fully cured and the surface is dry to touch. It can be hung on pre-installed loop screws or plastic hooks. The frame was reinforced by vertical and horizontal planks.
This a large painting suitable for a large room or office. I used an impressionistic style to paint it. Apart from compositional and coloristic goals my plan was to add a mystery to it by placing small seemingly insignificant objects on the painting and playing with words to make a viewer think why I came up with such a title. The painting is very bright and it may require some space to fully appreciate it. The overall idea was inspired by a sudden realisation that blind people probably fall in love very often. They do not have a barrier of visual assessment which may prevent noticing truly beautiful personal qualities of people around.

Collecting your artwork
- Gallery artwork can be purchased via this website at anytime over the art show weekend. Gallery items must remains on display for the duration of the Art Show and are to be collected from the school once the Art Show closes on Sunday 26 Oct between 4:30pm-5:30pm.
- Shop items can only be purchased in-person while in the shop and can be collected once purchased.
- Postage is NOT possible on any items.
