Mixed media mosaic using hand formed ceramic tiles. This work is backed on cement sheeting so can be hung outside.
Dimensions 30cm x 30cm.
Sarah creates her own ceramic tiles and forms using sprig moulds that she makes from Indian wood blocks, old buttons and clay forms. She also creates textured tiles using textured rollers. She loves to incorporate clay in her work and texture in other forms such as cup handles or ceramic chopstick holders. As a mosaic artist, she can’t mix colours the way a painter does and this finite colour palette limitation often forces her to be more creative with colour choices.

Collecting your artwork
Gallery artwork remains on display for the duration of the Art Show and is to be collected once the Art Show closes on Sunday 27 Oct (you will receive an email with collection details). Items within the Shop can be collected once purchased. Postage is NOT possible on any items.
