Flowers are particularly difficult images to create.  The concept is perfect in my mind but then it's difficult to get all the folds, shadows and tones right to do the flower justice.  This is an unusual piece in that it's made up of 40mm rectangles, which added another layer of difficulty in creating the final product.

'Rosa' is an abstract of a rose made up of approx. 900 40x20mm, stained, varnished wood blocks of varying depths. It's been framed in a varnished 42mm x 12mm natural hardwood floating frame.

The piece is approx. 14kg and measures 127x118cm. It comes with a heavy-duty wire fitted and ready to hang.

  • Collecting your artwork

    • Gallery artwork can be purchased via this website at anytime over the art show weekend. Gallery items must remains on display for the duration of the Art Show and are to be collected from the school once the Art Show closes on Sunday 26 Oct between 4:30pm-5:30pm.
    • Shop items can only be purchased in-person while in the shop and can be collected once purchased.
    • Postage is NOT possible on any items.
