'Hide and Seek' is inspired by the delicate dance between visibility and concealment, reflecting how beauty and identity can be partially hidden yet powerfully present.
The interplay between the woman’s face and the soft, enveloping petals symbolises the way we navigate between revealing and protecting our true selves. Like in the childhood game of hide and seek, there's a playful tension in being seen and unseen, inviting the viewer to look deeper, to discover the layers of identity and emotion concealed within.

About the artist: I am an ex nutrition scientist/researcher/author now living my dream; creating beautiful oil paintings.
After studying at the Milan Art Institute, I found myself irresistibly drawn to painting faces, and realised that my true passion lay in capturing the essence of human expression, starting always with the eyes because the eyes are indeed the 'window to the soul.'
My artistic style is a blend of whimsical and surreal elements, seamlessly intertwined with touches of realism.
My fascination with whimsical and surreal themes stems from my desire to explore the boundaries of imagination and reality. I aim to create visual representations imbued with stories and emotions that invite viewers to embark on a journey of discovery.

Collecting your artwork
Gallery artwork remains on display for the duration of the Art Show and is to be collected once the Art Show closes on Sunday 27 Oct (you will receive an email with collection details). Items within the Shop can be collected once purchased. Postage is NOT possible on any items.
