Inspired by the miniature worlds within coastal rockpools.
Growing up by the southern coast, I’ve always felt the ocean’s pull on me, its textures, colours, and quiet life beneath the surface. Rockpool Gathering II captures that hidden beauty found in tide pools where coral, seaweed, algae and tiny organisms’ glow and bloom in balance.
The monochrome palette, softened with touches of green, blue and yellow, echoes the contrasts of basalt rocks and luminous sea life along Australia’s southern shores. Part of my ‘Aqua Vitae’ series, this piece celebrates the wonder of microscopic growth and our deep connection to the natural world.

Collecting your artwork
- Gallery artwork can be purchased via this website at anytime over the art show weekend. Gallery items must remains on display for the duration of the Art Show and are to be collected from the school once the Art Show closes on Sunday 26 Oct between 4:30pm-5:30pm.
- Shop items can only be purchased in-person while in the shop and can be collected once purchased.
- Postage is NOT possible on any items.
