'Tunes' is an abstract depiction young woman listening to her music (very loudly).  It's made up of approx. 2600 28x28mm, stained, varnished wood blocks elevated to varying depths. It's been framed in a black, varnished 65mm x 12mm hardwood floating frame.

The image reminds me of my daughter, listening to music, alone with her thoughts and giving people suspicious looks!

Deep tones, bright pinks and the natural shadows that the blocks cast on each other, this is a rich and complex texture. 

This is the biggest piece I've ever made and measures 247x124cm and weighs approx. 25kg.  It comes ready to hang with all the appropriate hardware.
