The Lonely Palm is a depiction of a single palm tree, blowing in the sea air.  It's made up of approx. 3000 20x20mm, stained, varnished wood blocks of varying depths. It's been framed in a varnished 42mm x 12mm natural hardwood floating frame.  
  • The dimensions are W109, H134.5, D5 cm.

The image is simple, but the colour and detail are quite special, including the sunlight creating an orangey tint on the edge of the fronds.  It's a large piece considering it's made up of my small, 20mm blocks.  3000 blocks are a considerable number of blocks for one piece, and I would usually opt for a larger cube, making this one very unique.

The piece is approx. 17kg and comes with the appropriate hanging hardware.
