Monique is a Mornington  Peninsula artist with a passion for "en plein air" (in the open air) painting in oils. She is often encountered by intrigued onlookers with her tripod and "pochade" painting box set up at various locations around the Peninsula. At times she is accompanied by her beloved dog Red Dog or occasionally she will be painting from her bike handlebars! Wherever she decides to paint, her inspiration is the light, colour and joy de vie of the scene before her. Monique also creates extensive collections of works in her studio that arise from her outdoor painting expeditions.
