ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have been making ceramic works in my Baxter studio since 2006. Throughout this time, I have been constantly learning the nature of clay. I hand build and also make vessels which are thrown on the wheel.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
My greatest pleasure in the clay process is the alternate type of firings I can use. Traditional Raku (glazed), Raku Horsehair and Emu feather, Saggar Firing and Pit Firings. All of these types of firings are purely ornamental and provide a “one off” result which can be very rewarding.
I also make functional/traditional ceramic ware for everyday use.
