ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Narcissus was a little perturbed by his reflection that morning $895 - 89(h) x 75(w) cm, framed in black.
Helmeted Guineafowl have long been a favourite subject matter for me - inspired by my many trips to southern Africa - where they are endemic. They are always comical and incredibly entertaining as they fuss and bother and chase each other. My original title for this piece was "Feeling Dotty" but then I decided to be a little silly and give it a more fitting name - gives most people a bit of a giggle.
