ABOUT THE ARTWORK

  • Dry Season, Hidden Valley. Flinders Ranges SA $800 - 121.8(h) x 60.9(w) cm, unframed (ready to hang).

Walking along the dry riverbed from our camp through cliffs that went straight up we wandered through the rock valley. The different colours of the earth, the blue blue sky and tufts of green grass seemed to go on forever.

      ABOUT THE ARTIST

Colours and patterns within the environment have always inspired my work which I prefer to do using the handle end of a brush plus matchsticks, golf tees, toothpicks etc. Mixed media, particularly glitter, adds another dimension of light. All my paintings have a story of somewhere I have visited or just the feeling from the land. If you feel you need to touch the painting, then please do so as that is my intention.
