This piece is inspired by the tall termite mounds found around the Northern Territory, outback Australia. It is made from a beautiful black clay, rolled into large slabs, and assembled using the handbuilding methods. Once bisque fired, the surface is then decorated by layering various textural glazes, then fired with mid to almost stoneware temperatures. It is watertight, and comes with its own black stick arrangement.
